About The Position

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the execution of assigned design and construction projects to ensure alignment with Hitachi Energy’s strategic goals. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills to manage internal teams and external stakeholders effectively.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in project management, preferably in corporate real estate or capital projects.
Proven track record of managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).

Nice To Haves

PMP or equivalent project management certification is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the full lifecycle of small to large-scale capital improvement and build projects.
Ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget while meeting quality and safety standards.
Provide oversight and direction to third-party project management firms and consultants.
Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and invoicing.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, contract specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement by capturing and sharing lessons learned.
Support strategic initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency.
