About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to oversee the success of both culinary and food service operations. The role includes full culinary management of the food service operation, including inventory, ordering, and receiving. The Chef Manager will contribute to menu development, cost controls, purchasing, inventory management, and sourcing and using local food products, with a focus on sustainability. Knowledge of P&L accountability and experience in contract-managed services are desirable.

Requirements

• Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, a fine dining setting, or a restaurant.
• Knowledge of inventory and purchasing practices and controls.
• Working knowledge of HACCP.
• Experience with exposition cooking.
• Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience.
• ServSafe certification.
