Requirements

  • College Diploma (DEC) or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent command of Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions)
  • Strong ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Rigor and precision in processing financial data
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Mastery of French and good knowledge of English, spoken and written, required due to interactions with partners, suppliers, and business documents in English
  • Autonomy, resourcefulness, and initiative
  • Excellent team spirit and collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the accounting of several group entities, including:
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Make monthly general ledger entries
  • Follow up on the fixed asset schedule
  • Analyze prepaid expenses and various accounts receivable
  • Record and track month-end accruals
  • Ensure compliance and preparation of GST and QST returns
  • Prepare intercompany reconciliations
  • Participate in the preparation of year-end audit files
  • Participate in various internal company projects
  • Assist the controller and/or financial director
