Requirements

College Diploma (DEC) or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Excellent command of Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions)
Strong ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines
Rigor and precision in processing financial data
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Mastery of French and good knowledge of English, spoken and written, required due to interactions with partners, suppliers, and business documents in English
Autonomy, resourcefulness, and initiative
Excellent team spirit and collaboration

Responsibilities

Responsible for the accounting of several group entities, including:
Perform bank reconciliations
Make monthly general ledger entries
Follow up on the fixed asset schedule
Analyze prepaid expenses and various accounts receivable
Record and track month-end accruals
Ensure compliance and preparation of GST and QST returns
Prepare intercompany reconciliations
Participate in the preparation of year-end audit files
Participate in various internal company projects
Assist the controller and/or financial director
