About The Position

As a Counter Manager, you will be responsible for developing opportunities and helping to supervise and manage our CHANEL Beauty and Fragrance installations in the designated store, in order to generate maximum sales volume. You will be responsible for achieving sales objectives and providing outstanding customer service through the sale of CHANEL Fragrance and Beauty products. You will need to understand customer needs in order to build customer loyalty and thus generate repeat sales.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve planned Beauty and Fragrance sales objectives for the year.
  • Proactive sales initiatives to maximize and exceed objectives.
  • 100% sales on promotions and limited edition items.
  • Provide superior customer service by demonstrating interest, courtesy, and sincerity towards customers.
  • Ensure meticulous attention to each client through consultations.
  • Develop and motivate the counter team by achieving a minimum number of items per transaction.
  • Participate in the development of the sales team to ensure they are focused on achieving sales objectives through monthly, weekly, and daily preparation and follow-ups.
  • Ensure all analysts receive daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives and that they are indicated on personalized productivity statements.
  • Train and develop each analyst.
  • Participate in the training of new analysts.
  • In collaboration with the territory manager and the store, coordinate all details to ensure events and promotions are a success.
  • Achieve reservation and new client objectives.
  • Ensure CHANEL hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
  • Actively participate in in-store merchandising: Respect promotional dates at the counter. Ensure displays are up-to-date and properly installed. Ensure merchandising is up-to-date and respects CHANEL style and guides.
  • Responsible for inventory management for Beauty and Fragrance products.
  • Knowledge of store inventory (out of stock/to suggest/available).
  • Inventory rotation management.
  • Assist the Cosmetics Manager in organizing work schedules to ensure appropriate counter coverage at all times.
  • Regularly participate in meetings with the counter team, store managers, territory manager, and visual presentation team.
  • Maintain a good relationship with fragrance associates by communicating objectives to be achieved.
  • Conduct team and/or individual meetings to provide updates and establish sales objectives.
