This is a strategic, high-impact leadership role within our global, mission-driven, and complex manufacturing and aftermarket sustainment operations. It offers high visibility and involves both strategic and operational engagement with our Digital Technologies and Business Leadership teams, including senior executives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems and 14+ years of experience in ERP systems; OR an Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems and 12+ years of experience in ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global ERP COE by defining the vision, governance model, and organizational structure aligned with Pratt & Whitney Digital Technologies’ key guiding principles.
  • Advise business stakeholders as a strategic thinker and technology thought leader, bringing in relevant expertise and industry benchmarks while influencing across a complex matrixed organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, staying ahead of technological trends and acting as a catalyst for change to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Manage budgets, capacity, and financial planning in collaboration with Finance on a monthly basis.
  • Communicate regularly with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Executives to align priorities
  • Manage escalations, acting as the primary point of contact for high-priority issues and coordinating resolution across teams and stakeholders.
  • Help ensure employee satisfaction by monitoring engagement, supporting morale, and fostering a motivated, high-performing workforce, including tracking feedback through satisfaction surveys.
  • Work closely with all Digital Technologies (DT) groups including RTX to ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Communicate complex problems clearly in non-technical terms, while guiding the team to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze business processes, and develop holistic solution frameworks for successful delivery.
  • Manage and deliver a complex portfolio of run and transform initiatives across the ERP integrated landscape, and develop and maintain multi-year strategic technology roadmaps in partnership with business stakeholders.
  • Design and execute a P&W-specific SAP S/4 HANA transformation strategy aligned with the RTX-wide S/4 HANA process and technology transformation program.
  • Oversee daily COE operations, including vendor relationships, budget and resource management, performance monitoring, and risk assessment, applying deep knowledge of waterfall and agile project methodologies.
  • Govern ERP change management, release planning, demand intake, capacity management, and prioritization across business units.
  • Drive global process harmonization and ensure alignment with business objectives across planning, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, logistics, shipping, and finance for OEM and Aftermarket segments.
  • Leverage strong ERP expertise and deep understanding of end-to-end business processes such as opportunity-to-cash, record-to-report, source-to-pay, and plan-to-sustain in regulated industries.
  • Own and optimize a complex ERP landscape consisting of SAP and non-SAP applications, including CRM, Customer/supplier/employee Portal, Web/mobile applications, QMS, and custom-developed solutions.
  • Adapt quickly to changing business priorities while mitigating risk and managing portfolio impacts.
  • Lead a high-performing team and develop a talent strategy that upskills employees and attracts new talent to advance SAP S/4 HANA capabilities, integrated analytics, and generative AI adoption.
  • Manage a global team of SAP leaders and functional experts, driving continuous improvement and promoting knowledge sharing across the organization.
  • Coach and mentor team members to support professional growth and enhance capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with IT and A&D regulations, security standards (ITAR, DFARS), SOX, and internal controls.
  • Support infrastructure operations to maintain enterprise solutions at scale, ensure operational coverage for 24x7 business operations, including holidays and weekends.
