Pennylane is seeking a Functional Project Manager specializing in Accounting Migration. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between accounting firms and the technology transforming their profession. Pennylane's mission is to provide accounting experts with tools that save them time on repetitive tasks, allowing them to focus on client advisory and relationships. The company has built an all-in-one platform connecting accounting experts and business leaders. This position requires someone who speaks the language of accounting firms and can guide them through their migration to Pennylane. Requirements

  • Accounting education: IUT GEA, BTS CGO, DCG, DSCG, Master CCA.
  • Experience in an accounting firm, ideally with one or more prior migrations.
  • Proficient in oral and written communication, interacting clearly, professionally, and credibly with accountants.
  • Service-oriented with a strong sense of customer relations: understanding needs, responding to them, and building lasting trust.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to rapid product evolution.
  • Eagerness for continuous learning and staying updated on Pennylane's functional evolutions.
  • Minimum A2 level English.

Responsibilities

  • Audit and analyze functional needs.
  • Plan, prepare, and lead meetings with firms, from launch to post-mortem, including briefings, scoping, and presentations.
  • Analyze business needs based on field feedback and migration experiences.
  • Write documentation and user stories to facilitate understanding for other teams.
  • Lead workshops and webinars, some focused on business uses, others more transversal.
  • Manage migration projects, ensuring clear and documented progress for all stakeholders.
  • Adapt the approach based on situations while adhering to existing processes for inter-team collaboration.
  • Communicate regularly on the alignment between technical solutions and business needs.
  • Act as an information relay to the PSS Back (Partner Solutions Architect) responsible for integration, correction, and control.
  • Contribute to configuring Pennylane to adapt to firms' existing business processes.
  • Participate in functional testing to validate that the solution meets business requirements before migration.
  • Collaborate with PSS Back teams on debugging and resolving business issues post-migration.
  • Conduct intermediate and final functional tests to validate solutions.
  • Contribute to post-migration reports and propose areas for improvement.
  • Identify and prioritize automation and optimization needs.
  • Participate in their implementation through documentation, feedback, or concrete proposals.
  • Monitor business satisfaction after each evolution.
  • Ensure product and business monitoring to guarantee the relevance of functionalities.
  • Propose improvements to existing systems and report deficiencies or malfunctions.
  • Contribute to transforming needs into actionable solutions, both internally and externally.
  • Understand the challenges of PSS Back tasks and be able to intervene occasionally in production as needed.
