About The Position

We are a farm to table restaurant looking for an exciting, dynamic and energetic Cook to join our team. We offer a 4 diamond food prepared in a cool and contemporary environment. We operate an award winning 2 acre farm here in Niagara Falls that provides us with the freshest produce in Niagara. We are the recipient of the 2022 Ontario Tourism award for sustainability, noted as #2 fine dining restaurant in Canada from Trip Advisor 2023 and on the top 100 restaurants in Canada from Open Table 2023. We also received the Niagara This Week Platinum Award for Best Local Chef / Best Fine Dining and are noted as the #21 date night restaurant in the world. Requirements

  • Only those with clearance to work in Canada need apply.
  • Scratch cooking is a must as well as a love for food, flavors and farming.
  • Hourly rate of pay plus cash gratuities of additional $3-$4 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Operates at the highest standard of quality at all times
  • Dessert and pastry cookery experience
  • Cut / clean / prepare vegetables for service
  • Knowledge of classical French cuisine.
  • Cooking to order of all menu items
  • Knowledge of vegetable, meat, fish, appetizer, dessert cookery is a must
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage your own work day
  • Closing / opening the kitchen
  • Bringing a skill set that will make you successful in a fast paced environment
  • Organizing weddings and functions
  • Ability to clean and sanitize a workstation.
  • Ability to use an automatic dishwasher
  • Upholding AG standards of professionalism
  • Working at our farm
  • Arrives in a clean / sanitary uniform for each shift
