About The Position

Round Lake, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Chef/Cook to join their growing team. Round Lake Senior Living, which opened in January 2023, is a beautiful community in Arden Hills providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. The community is looking for a compassionate individual passionate about enriching the lives of seniors to join their team and help residents 'Age Magnificently'. The Cook/Chef becomes family and impacts the lives of residents in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.

Requirements

Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
