About The Position

Boden Senior Living of Maplewood, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Chef/Cook to join our growing team. Boden Senior Living of Maplewood is located just off of Beam Avenue near the corner of Robinson Dr. and 113th Lane NW in Maplewood, MN. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous, apartment style community providing only Memory Care services. Join our team today! Shifts Available: Full-Time AMs (7am-1pm) Wage: $17.50-$22.50 per hour Are you compassionate towards others? Are you passionate about enriching the lives of others? Requirements

Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.
Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
