About The Position

Lifespark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and passionate Chef/Cook to join their team at Chaska Heights Senior Living. This role is crucial in enriching the lives of residents by preparing high-quality meals in accordance with specific dietary needs and facility standards. The ideal candidate will become part of the family and make a direct impact on the residents' daily lives in a beautiful 136-unit community offering Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Chaska Heights is located in Chaska, Minnesota, and is part of a growing leadership and staff team.

Requirements

Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
