About The Position

Carver Ridge, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Chef/Cook to join their growing team. Carver Ridge Senior Living is located just outside the heart of downtown Carver, Minnesota. They help seniors Age Magnificently in a 70-unit, apartment-style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Carver Ridge provides stable leadership and a cheerful staff, and was recently voted Best in Senior Living in 2021 and 2022.

Requirements

• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.
• Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
• Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
• Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
