About The Position

Round Lake, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a Part-Time Chef/Cook to join their growing team. Round Lake Senior Living, which opened in January 2023, is a beautiful 120-unit apartment-style community in Arden Hills, offering Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. The community is dedicated to helping seniors Age Magnificently with a wonderful team. This role is crucial in impacting the lives of residents by preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.

Requirements

Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
