About The Position

As Checkout Content Manager, you will manage a team of Checkout Specialists to improve the full checkout journey, focusing on clarity, usability, and conversion. You will prioritize initiatives, optimize processes, and ensure consistent execution, turning insights into actionable improvements that drive revenue and enhance customer experience. You will partner closely with Data, Product, User Experience, and other cross-functional teams to identify high-impact opportunities, guide execution, and continuously refine the checkout experience based on results. This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week with opportunities in office or hybrid.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Communications, Writing, Marketing, Cognitive Psychology, or other relevant fields
  • Proven experience successfully leading and developing teams
  • Ability to successfully manage complex projects and deliver in alignment with key performance indicators
  • Experience owning workflows, prioritization, and execution across multiple initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to an evolving business environment, balancing short-term challenges with a strategic focus on long-term growth
  • Strong background in conversion-focused content, UX, or checkout optimization
  • Understanding of consumer psychology, online marketing, and conversion optimization
  • Experience designing and running A/B testing programs and applying experimentation frameworks
  • Ability to translate business objectives into a structured, prioritized roadmap that delivers measurable outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of aligning stakeholders across teams
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows and efficiency
  • Interest and motivation to grow within the role and take on expanded responsibilities

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with subscription models and pricing presentation
  • Experience working with Content Management System (CMS) tools and front-end environments
  • Experience working with Google Analytics or similar tools

Responsibilities

  • Manage, lead and coach a team of Checkout Specialists focused on driving conversion and increasing customer lifetime value
  • Own the end-to-end checkout experience, including page flows, pricing presentation, subscriptions, and post-purchase touchpoints
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage the checkout roadmap, balancing quick optimization wins with long-term monetization and product initiatives
  • Review and approve content, layout, and experience changes to improve quality, clarity, and performance
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to understand customer behavior and drive improvements across the checkout experience
  • Build and manage a prioritized pipeline of improvements across the checkout journey
  • Set clear priorities, manage workload, and ensure timely delivery of checkout initiatives
  • Partner with analysts to identify opportunities and translate insights into clear, actionable initiatives for the team
  • Oversee and guide the team’s experimentation efforts, ensuring tests are well scoped, executed, and aligned with priorities
  • Partner with Pricing, Analysis, Product, User Experience, Pay Per Click and Engineering teams to align on priorities and deliver coordinated improvements
  • Communicate progress, priorities, and outcomes to stakeholders
  • Identify gaps in the checkout experience and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop playbooks and best practices to scale successful approaches across the team
