About The Position

MX is looking for a dynamic Content Manager to shape and create high-impact B2B content that drives engagement, strengthens brand authority, and accelerates business growth. This is a highly versatile role at the intersection of strategy and storytelling - perfect for someone who can move seamlessly from big-picture thinking to hands-on execution across multiple formats. The Content Manager will craft compelling narratives, translate complex ideas into clear and engaging content, and optimize for performance across search, AI-driven discovery, and social channels. Requirements

  • 5+ years of journalism, editorial, or content experience with a track record of performance-driven writing and editing; B2B or agency experience preferred.
  • Portfolio that demonstrates a range across multiple content types and formats.
  • Strong creative thinker able to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content.
  • Proven ability to balance creativity with business goals and measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high editorial standards.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management systems.
  • Highly organized, curious, and self-motivated, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead content strategies aligned to business goals, brand positioning, and pipeline impact.
  • Define editorial pillars, messaging frameworks, and content roadmaps.
  • Conduct content audits, competitive analysis, and performance assessments.
  • Identify audience needs, search behaviors, and content opportunities.
  • Map content to customer journeys, buying groups, and decision stages.
  • Own content from concept through delivery (brief, outline, draft, revisions, final).
  • Produce and edit high-quality content across formats, including long-form articles, whitepapers, ebooks, website and email marketing content, LinkedIn posts and carousels, and video scripts and campaign assets.
  • Adapt ideas across channels while maintaining clarity, consistency, and voice.
  • Shape clear, differentiated points of view and craft engaging, well-structured narratives.
  • Generate fresh angles and elevate briefs into original, high-impact content.
  • Apply SEO and AEO best practices to improve visibility and engagement.
  • Structure content for search and AI-driven discovery.
  • Monitor performance metrics and continuously optimize content.
  • Present content and strategy with confidence, clearly articulating rationale.
  • Partner with clients and stakeholders to align on goals, and lead content workstreams or accounts as needed.
