The Check-In Representative answers incoming calls, schedules appointments, or directs callers to appropriate departments while interviewing new patients, verifying demographics and insurance, and inputting information into appropriate systems. The Tech Assistant interviews patients, explains procedures, obtains medical history, positions patients for scans, and prepares necessary documentation and supplies.
