About The Position

As a CHB Operations Associate, you play a critical role in ensuring our customers’ imports move smoothly, compliantly, and on time. You will manage end‑to‑end customs brokerage operations for a dedicated portfolio of accounts, partnering closely with customers, carriers, government agencies, and internal teams. Requirements

  • 6–12 months of customs brokerage or related industry experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Team‑focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2 years in a CHB or operational support environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)
  • Customs House Broker License preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end customs brokerage operations for a dedicated portfolio of accounts.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers, responding to questions and providing timely, accurate shipment updates.
  • Prepare and process U.S. Customs entries and Partner Government Agency (PGA) filings, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
  • Open and manage entry files in alignment with defined KPIs and service standards.
  • Coordinate shipment clearance with freight forwarders, steamship lines, airlines, and container freight stations (CFS) to ensure timely release.
  • Track and trace inbound shipments from port or airport through final delivery.
  • Ensure all required documentation and entry packages are accurately uploaded into operating systems.
  • Complete customer billing, delivery orders, and required operational reports.
  • Maintain and update customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with teammates and cross‑functional partners to support coverage, cross‑training, and peak‑volume needs.
