About The Position

Heritage Truck Equipment in Hartville, Ohio is hiring assemblers to join the chassis assembly department. This is a full-time, first shift position with 50 hours per week. The role involves both sub-assembly and main assembly tasks, requiring mechanical skills, knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and potentially welding and fabricating. Requirements

• Basic mechanical skills
• Intermediate mechanical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Solid work history is a must
• Reliable attendance
• Reliable Transportation
• Provide own tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems a plus
• Welding experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Pre-assemble hydraulic pumps/hydraulic tanks
• Build light panels
• Assemble control towers
• Assemble lift axles/hoists
• Assemble chassis according to spec sheet
• Install lift axles, hydraulic systems, control towers, etc.
• Use of torches, plasma cutters and welders
• Run wires and airlines
• Welding and fabricating
