About The Position
The Entry-Level Charity Fundraising Representative engages with the public at live events, community gatherings, and fundraising campaigns to support charitable causes. The representative shares nonprofit partners’ missions, encourages people to get involved, and helps meet campaign goals while providing a positive public experience. The role offers hands-on opportunities to develop communication, sales, leadership, public speaking, relationship-building, customer engagement, and event management skills, with opportunities to advance into team leadership and management as experience is gained. Team members collaborate and participate in training and development.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Comfort speaking with new people in a face-to-face setting.
- Reliability, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset.
- An interest in fundraising, community engagement, or sales.
Nice To Haves
- Previous sales or fundraising experience is a plus, but is not required.
