Entry-Level Charity Fundraising & Events Representative
About The Position
Represent charitable organizations at retail stores and shopping centers throughout the Northern California Bay Area. The role involves connecting with the public, sharing the stories behind charitable causes, explaining fundraising initiatives, and encouraging community members to become donors. It offers hands-on experience in face-to-face fundraising and opportunities to develop communication, public speaking, relationship-building, persuasion, and problem-solving skills. The advancement pathway may include team leader, assistant manager, and manager roles, subject to demonstrated performance, leadership ability, and available opportunities.
Requirements
- Confidence communicating with new people.
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and comfortable in face-to-face environments.
- Coachable and open to feedback.
- Goal-oriented, resilient, and motivated to improve.
- Interest in sales, fundraising, personal development, or leadership.
Nice To Haves
- Previous sales or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
