About The Position

Are you passionate about making a difference in your community ? We are seeking a motivated Charity Fundraising Assistant to join our growing team and support nonprofit programs and campaigns . This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in fundraising, donor relations, and marketing communications , with full training and mentorship . About the Role As a Charity Fundraising Assistant , you will be the first point of contact for our Fundraising and Marketing & Communications teams, helping process donations, maintain donor records, and ensure excellent customer care . You’ll work closely with management and the communications team, supporting a variety of tasks and fundraising initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external fundraising inquiries
• Deliver high-level customer care , acknowledging and thanking donors promptly
• Collaborate with management and communications teams to prepare and send engaging donor communications
• Support fundraising and promotional events , including planning, logistics, and on-the-day execution
• Maintain and update the donor database , providing training and support to colleagues
• Perform data entry, reporting, and database management tasks
• Help the fundraising team prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Stay informed on fundraising initiatives and trends across the nonprofit sector
• Introduce new ideas and initiatives , taking ownership of your work
