About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Charity Events Assistant to join our team and support the planning and execution of charity events, nonprofit fundraisers, and community outreach initiatives. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in event coordination, nonprofit work, fundraising, and community engagement. No prior experience is required. We provide paid training, hands-on experience, and mentorship to help you build a strong foundation in event management and nonprofit support.

Requirements

• Are 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Hold a high school diploma or GED
• Enjoy working with people in public-facing, community-focused environments
• Are organized, dependable, and able to multitask in fast-paced settings
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Are flexible to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules
• Are eager to learn and grow in event planning, fundraising, or nonprofit operations
• No experience is necessary — full paid training is provided.

• college coursework in communications, marketing, or nonprofit studies is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing charity events, fundraising campaigns, and community programs
• Support event setup, logistics, and on-site coordination
• Help manage volunteers and assist with event operations
• Engage with attendees, donors, and community members to enhance the event experience
• Handle event registration, guest sign-ups, and coordination
• Monitor attendance and collect feedback for event improvement
• Collaborate with event coordinators and team members to ensure smooth execution
