About The Position

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Charity Events Assistant to support the planning and execution of nonprofit events, fundraisers, and community outreach initiatives. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about community service, event planning, fundraising, and nonprofit work. No prior experience is required—we provide paid training, hands-on experience, and mentorship to help you build a successful career in event coordination and nonprofit support.

Requirements

• Are 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Have a high school diploma or GED (college coursework in marketing, communications, or nonprofit studies is a plus)
• Enjoy working with people and thrive in public-facing roles
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Are organized, dependable, and adaptable in fast-paced event environments
• Are flexible to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules
• No experience required — full paid training provided

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of charity events and fundraising campaigns
• Support event setup, logistics, and on-site event management
• Coordinate with volunteers and team members to ensure smooth operations
• Engage with attendees, donors, and community members to enhance the event experience
• Manage event registrations, sign-ups, and guest interactions
• Track attendance and collect feedback to improve future events and campaigns
• Collaborate with event coordinators and leadership to meet fundraising and outreach goals
