The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Office of Charitable and Regulatory Programs, is seeking an individual to serve as Charitable Gaming Inspector in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves enforcing the Charitable Gaming statute and related regulations. The inspector will conduct inspections of organizations involved in charitable gaming to ensure compliance, provide orientation and ongoing training to organizations, and inspect and assure the legitimacy of electronic pull-tab devices. The position requires the selected individual to establish and work from a home office within the assigned territory, which includes numerous counties. This role involves extensive travel and non-traditional work hours. The inspector will also develop investigative strategies, resolve complaints, and prepare investigative case reports for enforcement action.
