About The Position

The Charge Nurse leads by example and provides supervision, direction, and support to nursing staff while ensuring compassionate and compliant care for patients. The role is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other weekend on the evening shift.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in good standing.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Commitment to patient advocacy and ethical practice.
• Passion for helping individuals recover and thrive.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience in nursing, behavioral health, or substance use treatment.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing staff and daily nursing operations during assigned shifts.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to medical staff.
• Ensure accurate documentation in patient records.
• Support new staff training and mentoring.
• Respond to emergency situations and incidents.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.
• Provide compassionate and individualized care in alignment with clinical protocols.
