About The Position
Join Lovelace Women’s Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as a full-time, night-shift ICU Charge Nurse. The Charge RN is accountable for professional nursing practice, including nursing management of patients and staff in the assigned area. The role supports patient care and unit operations while promoting compliance and patient safety. Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 and relocation assistance. Requirements
- Associate’s degree or Diploma of Nursing.
- One year of Charge Nurse experience in a hospital setting, or more than one year of clinical or management experience.
- CPR.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
- Valid New Mexico nursing license or New Mexico compact license within 90 days of hire.

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- National certification in clinical specialty care.
Responsibilities
- Be accountable for professional nursing practice, including the nursing management of patients and staff in the assigned area.
- Manage efficient patient flow, appropriate use of supplies, and other operational functions.
- Collaborate with unit managers and/or directors to develop and revise unit policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Serve as a departmental liaison and first point of contact for patients, providers, and staff.
- Follow policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
