About The Position

The Charge Nurse on 3 West at Cullman Regional Medical Center works full-time, .9 FTE, on a 7 AM–7 PM shift. The role delegates assignments according to task complexity and team members’ education and competency, administers medication and IV therapy, and follows nursing policies. The Charge Nurse rounds on new admissions and addresses issues, evaluates staffing based on census, and adjusts staffing as needed. The position promotes teamwork, exceptional patient and guest experiences, patient safety, and quality.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Hold a current nursing license in Alabama.
• Have at least 1 year of experience as a registered nurse.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with guests.
• Have proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Be ACLS certified.
