About The Position

Brush Country Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join its team in Austin, Texas. The organization aims to be a destination of choice for long-term senior care and seeks a motivated nurse committed to serving residents and growing professionally under the guidance of the Director of Nursing, Assistant Directors of Nursing, and clinical staff.

The Charge Nurse works with assigned residents, collaborating with the Medical Director and attending physician, supporting nursing-service planning, assessing residents and reviewing their records, and completing related administrative documentation. The role also includes helping team members develop their careers.

Requirements

• Hold a current LPN/LVN license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Confer with the Medical Director and attending physician regarding assigned residents.
• Consult with physicians concerning resident evaluations and assist the Director of Nursing with planning and developing nursing services for residents.
• Help team members grow their careers.
• Examine residents and their records and charts to identify normal and abnormal findings and recognize early signs of serious physical, emotional, or mental problems.
• Complete administrative duties for assigned residents, including medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charting.
