Charge Nurse (RN) Harrison Ranch Free-Standing Emergency Department Full Time Nights
About The Position
The Charge Nurse assumes shift responsibility and accountability for planning and providing direct/indirect nursing care to patients, families, and appropriate others under the direct supervision of the Nursing Director for the unit. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and educates other nursing personnel to provide and facilitate optimal health care outcomes in accordance with Manatee Health policies and procedures, standards and philosophy. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned. This opportunity is for a full-time nights Charge RN position with the Harrison Ranch Free-Standing Emergency Room (Parrish, FL).
Requirements
- Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
- ASN, required
- Current RN licensure in Florida
- Current BLS through American Heart Association
- Current ACLS through American Heart Association
- Current PALS through American Heart Association
- Current TNCC Certification
- Current NIH Stroke Certification
- CPI required within 6 months of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of ED experience
- Current ER experience, required
Nice To Haves
- BSN, preferred
- Previous supervisory experience, preferred
