About The Position

Southern Pain and Spine, a leading interventional pain management practice serving North Georgia and Metro Atlanta, is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) to lead daily clinical operations while providing hands-on care throughout the pre-operative, procedural, and recovery process. This role offers a leadership opportunity within a multidisciplinary team committed to patient safety, clinical excellence, and exceptional outcomes, with a consistent weekday schedule and no weekends.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Ability to maintain focus on quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and/or pain management.
• Experience with Athena EHR.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• CPAN certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical activities, including staffing and workflow coverage.
• Serve as a clinical resource for nurses and support staff.
• Supervise support personnel and reinforce established clinical protocols.
• Perform patient assessments, monitor treatment responses, and document clinical findings.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate care team members.
• Provide nursing care during pre-operative, procedural, and recovery stages.
• Partner with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes.
• Support quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain facility standards, professional ethics, and evidence-based practices.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
