About The Position

The OR Clinical Manger is responsible for expediting the surgery schedule utilizing staff appropriately, for a specific shift, facilitating the day-to-day shift operations in the Surgery Department. He/she manages human resources at the unit level in a cost-effective manner. The OR Clinical Manager promptly and fully investigates and resolves complaints of patients, visitors, staff, and physicians, advising management / administration appropriately. The OR Clinical Manager collaborates and works with facilities and Biomed to resolve issues related to the physical environment and equipment that may present a patient safety issue or a regulatory deficiency by entering appropriate work orders and communicating with facilities and Biomed staff in a timely manner. The OR Clinical Manager demonstrates the ability to respond and provide direction in changing workload during crisis and emergencies in a calm manner. The OR Clinical Manager communicates effectively with staff assisting with understanding of difficult administrative decisions. Access to all Patient Health Information for treatment purposes only. Responsibilities
