About The Position

EXP is seeking a Communications Officer to join their corporate communications team. This role involves creating content for various communication platforms, coordinating communication initiatives, developing communication plans and strategies, and measuring their effectiveness. The position requires managing timelines, approval processes, and deliverables, as well as revising texts for clarity and impact. The Communications Officer will also support various sectors and teams by organizing webinars or events and actively participate in team meetings, collaborating with internal and external teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in communications.
  • Creative mindset and strong ability to write varied content—technical, journalistic, promotional, and administrative—adapted to different audiences.
  • Good understanding of social media and its strategic use.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, and Poppulo.
  • Advanced proficiency in English, with regular oral and written communication with internal partners in Canada or the United States.
  • Strong ability to simplify information clearly, structurally, and accessibly.
  • Teamwork skills, ability to develop positive professional relationships, and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in content creation for EXP's numerous communication platforms, ensuring adherence to EXP's brand standards.
  • Coordinate various communication initiatives aligned with the company's objectives and those of the corporate communications team.
  • Contribute to the development of communication plans and strategies and their implementation.
  • Create and disseminate varied content adapted to different communication channels (social media, website, intranet, press releases).
  • Measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives and propose areas for improvement.
  • Ensure rigorous management of deadlines, approval processes, and deliverables.
  • Revise, correct, and reorganize texts to enrich vocabulary and improve readability, coherence, and impact.
  • Support different sectors and teams within the company by organizing webinars or events.
  • Actively participate in the planning and production meetings of the corporate communications team and collaborate with internal and external teams.
