Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited theological school or seminary.
• Ordination or appropriate denominational endorsement.
• Clinical Pastoral Education coursework.
• Two years of ministerial experience.
• Ability to provide spiritual care across diverse faith traditions and belief systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while thriving as part of a collaborative team.
• Flexibility to meet patient and family needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate spiritual care to hospice patients and their families in homes and care facilities.
• Complete spiritual assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Support patients' spiritual beliefs, values, and personal wishes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Coordinate with community clergy and faith leaders when appropriate.
• Provide education and spiritual support to staff and caregivers.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and on-call rotation.
• Connect patients and families with community resources as needed.
