About The Position

This role focuses on managing the daily activities of producers to ensure a strong pipeline and drive business growth in both commercial and consumer lines. The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving growth in Gross Written Premium (GPW), maintaining financial hygiene by managing cheque bounces and receivables, and focusing on retention, recruitment, and activation of agents. The role involves coaching and guiding agents to cross-sell and grow their business year-on-year, ensuring compliance with IRDA regulations, and maintaining the quality of applications. Additionally, the manager will support producers in policy services and recruit and train agents on company products, processes, and unique selling propositions.

Requirements

• Total 3-6 years of experience.
• Graduation, Any Professional degree.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably general insurance industry. This will vary with size and volume of office.
• Insurance certification – Associate level.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activity of producers to ensure strong pipeline.
• Coach & guide agents to cross sell and grow their business.
• Make individual agents grow Year On Year.
• Ensuring IRDA compliance regarding licensing & commission payments to agents.
• Responsible for ensuring quality of applications.
• Support/guide the producer in all activities related policy services.
• To recruit and appoint agents for Gen Ins business.
• Train agents on products, process and USP’s of Co.
• Achieve the overall budget assigned for the fiscal.
• Multi line budget achievement.
• Achieve 100% of Budget- periodically and annually.
• Service excellence standards to be met.
• Issuance of policies within 7 days.
• Refunds within 10 days.
• Quotes 48 hours within branch authority.
• Ensuring & monitoring claim settlements with agreed TAT.
• Within 7 days of receipt of all documentation.
