About The Position

The Channel Sales Executive (CSE) role is primarily responsible for developing existing accounts and focusing on new account development, complementing the Commercial Account Team. The CSE will also support Motorola's Authorized Reseller Channel Partners. This role involves meeting or exceeding assigned revenue and project quotas for North America PCR System Platforms, subscriber products, services, consoles, accessories, and applications. A significant portion of the time (80%) will be dedicated to end-user engagements, with or without a channel partner, to drive channel system success and business growth. The CSE will collaborate with vertical marketing teams to identify end-user engagement opportunities through associations or conferences, lead Radio and Data system solution development to meet end-user needs, and understand the value of MOTOTRBO Applications, providing guidance on solution selection and integration. The role also includes facilitating and developing Commercial System Opportunities in conjunction with local Channel Account Managers, Channel Partners, and Spectrum License Holders, aiming to achieve "Trusted Adviser" status with customers and Channel Partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of sales/customer service/project management/engineering experience OR 4+ years of sales/customer service/project management/engineering experience
  • Understand the value of industry specific applications for our products and provide guidance on their selection and integration
  • Ability to coach and mentor new sales reps within our Channel community
  • Participate in and support Channel Partner Reviews, Sales training, and trade shows

Responsibilities
