About The Position

The Channel Engineer at Trellix serves as a critical technical leader within the partner ecosystem, enabling channel partners to effectively position, sell, and deliver Trellix’s cybersecurity solutions. This role bridges sales, engineering, and partner organizations to drive scalable growth, accelerate pipeline, and ensure consistent, high-quality customer outcomes through the channel.

Requirements

  • Technical onboarding, training, and workshops to channel partners including VARs, MSSPs, and distributors
  • Enable partner engineers on the Trellix portfolio, including Endpoint Security, Email Security, NDR, XDR, Helix, and Data Security
  • Develop and maintain reusable enablement assets such as demo environments, lab guides, and solution playbooks
  • Drive partner certification and technical competency programs
  • Support partner-led opportunities with solution architecture, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements
  • Guide partners in aligning customer requirements to Trellix solutions and best practices
  • Provide technical validation for complex opportunities and ensure scalable, secure designs
  • Collaborate with Channel Account Managers to execute partner business plans and territory strategies
  • Identify, recruit, and develop high-potential partners to expand technical coverage and market reach
  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline through technical engagement
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across Trellix solutions and integrations
  • Maintain deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including competitor offerings and emerging threats
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners and customers, providing strategic guidance on security architecture
  • Track partner technical readiness, certifications, and engagement metrics
  • Support technical aspects of deal registration, RFP/RFI responses, and proposals
  • Ensure consistency and quality in partner-led delivery and customer experience
  • Work closely with Sales Engineers, Account Managers, Product Management, and Marketing teams
  • Support partner events, joint campaigns, and field engagement activities
  • Provide feedback to internal teams based on partner and customer insights
