Temporary UKG Change Management Specialist
About The Position
This is a temporary role for a Change Management Specialist focused on UKG implementation within Ascension Texas Hospitals and facilities. The role involves serving as a liaison between system office strategy and local market execution, leading engagement efforts, conducting change impact assessments, reinforcing communication strategies, adapting training plans, providing hypercare and floor support during rollouts, and facilitating coordination between various teams. Travel to sites within the specified areas will be required (up to 75%), with potential for some remote work prior to go-live. The role is scheduled to end in December 2026.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of change management experience, along with UKG Pro WFM scheduling, is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience working with various leadership levels within a large, matrixed organization.
- Strong communication skills and professional knowledge regarding training and implementations.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a critical liaison between system office strategy and local market execution, ensuring that Ministry-level decisions are effectively translated into market-specific actions.
- Leading engagement efforts and conducting change impact assessments to address readiness needs and facilitate Ministry-driven changes.
- Reinforcing system office communication strategies to ensure clarity and awareness across all impacted groups.
- Adapting system office training plans and materials to support the successful adoption of new systems and processes.
- Providing hypercare and floor support during rollouts to guide end users and resolve issues promptly.
- Facilitating coordination and bidirectional feedback between the system office, change leaders, and local teams to ensure consistent and timely deployment.
