About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Change and Release Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering defined project deliverables, which requires engagement from multiple teams. The ideal candidate will communicate work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, ensure compliance to standards, and provide end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. This position ensures execution and delivery meet the client's expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.

Requirements

  • Detailed oriented, with experience evaluating documentation and ensuring adherence to policy and procedures
  • Work experience in reviewing project documents
  • Experience in project management, problem management, and incident management
  • Hands-on experience in Change Management for handling and reviewing changes
  • Hands-on working experience with Agile tools (Jira)
  • Understanding of Agile Scrum and Kanban processes
  • Experience with project management and test estimations
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Proficient with Tableau

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of Change Management or Release Management experience
  • Work experience on BMC Remedy and ServiceNow tools
  • Good Project Management Skills, with the ability to lead a team and drive results
  • Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide project status/metrics on deliverables or escalate issues to senior leaders and executives
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery, such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates
  • Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for defined deliverables
  • Promote and facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support deliverable completion
  • Gather and facilitate status updates for stakeholders and leadership regarding delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
  • Ensure execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor and stakeholders
  • Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards
  • Support resource planning for delivery and execution
  • Evaluate releases through all phases, ensuring required standards and processes are followed
  • Identify, assign, track, escalate, and resolve issues
