About The Position

Mass General Brigham (MGB) invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for the position of Chair, Department of Radiology. Requirements

Accomplished physician and leader.
Nationally and internationally recognized as an outstanding clinician, teacher, and investigator in the field of radiology.
Distinguished academic credentials, including an MD or MD/PhD degree.
Accomplishments in research, training, and clinical expertise, commensurate with appointment to the faculty at the rank of Professor (strongly preferred) or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School.
Detailed operational expertise.
Sharp focus on innovation and entrepreneurship.
Ability to plan and execute system-wide strategies.
Deep financial acumen.

Responsibilities

Lead the premier Department of Radiology, comprising over 1,110 faculty members and trainees.
Advance the clinical, teaching, research, and administrative activities of the Department, MGB, and HMS.
Sustain and elevate outstanding clinical and academic performance by bringing to fruition a fully integrated clinical and academic model.
Further advance and deliver on integration goals, bringing informed vision and perspectives.
Develop high-functioning teams and future leaders.
