George Fox University is seeking a collaborative and mission-driven leader to serve as Department Chair of the Kinesiology Program within the Division of Health and Behavioral Sciences starting August 1st, 2026. As part of the College of Allied Health Sciences, the Department Chair will work closely with faculty in Kinesiology, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), and Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) programs to support interdisciplinary collaboration, student success, and program excellence. The Department Chair reports directly to the Associate Dean of the Division of Health and Behavioral Sciences and partners with University leadership to ensure the mission, goals, and strategic direction of the Kinesiology Program align with the broader mission of the University. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership marked by character, competency, calling, and collaboration.
