Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with expected first year total earnings between $43000 - $48000 / year plus commission. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Requirements

  • Developed knowledge and experience in sales and company objectives
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills (Interacts well with Internal & External Customers)
  • Above Average Presentation Skills
  • Excellent Average interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills in all sales programs
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Enthusiastic, Team player interested in positive company growth
  • Clean, Valid NYS Driver’s License
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or Marketing is requested. A minimum of some college course work completed is required
  • All Sales Representatives are required to possess and maintain a New York State Solicitor Permit for the purpose of peddling alcoholic products

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for regular call frequency on assigned retail accounts primarily to sell volume, increase distribution, merchandise monitor price and shelf management
  • Delivering against Volume targets
  • Achieving Distribution / New Package gains
  • Achieve Monthly Point Sheet Objectives
  • Executing Supplier Company Programs
  • Establishing measures to prevent Out of Stocks. Responsible for daily decisions regarding retail inventory levels using past sales history, changes in climate, competitive activity, and special promotional activities
  • Establish, maintain, and build business relationships and present professional sales presentations using sales histories.
  • Creating localized plans to drive growth
  • Understanding the target consumer by account
  • Managing the appropriate Price based on Cost of Goods
  • Driving aggressive features based on Margin
