About The Position

The CFS Cancellations Coordinator is responsible for completing finance and insurance cancellations. This role involves interacting with internal and external customers at various levels, including CFS Cancellation, Registration and Schedule teams, supervisors, and management. The day-to-day responsibilities include processing and submitting all product cancellation paperwork to the appropriate product vendor or manufacturer, processing assigned work accurately and timely to meet department requirements, maintaining and processing assigned BPMS cancellation queues, communicating any cancellation problems to stores via the Cancellation workflow, calculating refund amounts when needed through BPMS, producing high quality and quantity of work under deadline pressure, backing up and assisting other team members as needed, meeting or exceeding service level agreements, and performing any other outside projects and/or tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong data entry skills
  • Understand basic accounting principles and logic
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet commitments and deadlines
  • Experience handling high volume of paperwork in multiple computer database systems
  • Use of computer required for entire shift
  • Periodic monthly meetings with Supervisor, which may require team interaction.
  • Communicate effectively with customer base
  • Ability to read, write speak and understand the English language
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a deadline driven environment
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate workflow

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive Accounting experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Process and submit all product cancellation paperwork to appropriate product vendor or manufacturer
  • Process assigned work in an accurate and timely manner meeting all department requirements
  • Maintain/Process assigned BPMS cancellation queues
  • Communicate any cancellation problems to the stores (via Cancellation workflow)
  • Calculate refund amounts when needed on any cancellation thru BPMS
  • Produce high quality and quantity of work while under deadline pressure
  • Back up and assist other team members as needed
  • Meet or exceed service level agreements
  • Perform any other outside projects and/or tasks as needed
