About The Position
Manufacturing company that makes fabricated steel assemblies needs Certified Welding Inspectors, also called CWI. This is a second shift position. This job is in Lamar, South Carolina. You will be responsible for onsite testing and inspection of manufactured products designed to support heavy loads.
Requirements
- Certified Welding Inspector with at least three years’ experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office software.
- Experience with Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Visual, and Ultrasonic inspection (NDI) preferred.

Responsibilities
- Onsite testing and inspection of manufactured products designed to support heavy loads.
- Identify components having cracks, corrosion, faulty welds, or other defects that would affect structural integrity.
- Read and understand engineering drawings or blueprints.
- Produce reports in desired formats.
