About The Position
Manufacturing company that makes fabricated steel assemblies needs Certified Welding Inspectors, also called CWI. There are day shift and night shift positions available. 10 hour days, 4 day week. You will be responsible for onsite testing and inspection of manufactured products designed to support heavy loads.
Requirements
- Certified Welding Inspector with at least three years’ experience.
- Experience in inspection and test of structures and welds.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings or blueprints.
- Proficiency with MS Office software.
Nice To Haves
- Non Destructive Testing Inspector / Nondestructive evaluation (NDE Technician) experience
- Experience with Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Visual, and Ultrasonic inspection (NDI)
- Construction experience
- Civil engineering experience
- Defense experience
- Marine experience
- Aerospace experience
Responsibilities
- Onsite testing and inspection of manufactured products designed to support heavy loads.
- Identify components having cracks, corrosion, faulty welds, or other defects that would affect structural integrity.
- Produce reports in desired formats.
