About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support surgical services in a fast-paced operating room environment. The ideal candidate will have recent operating room experience, strong sterile technique knowledge, and the ability to assist surgeons and nursing staff during a variety of surgical procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Certified Surgical Technologist experience.
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and operating room procedures.
Nice To Haves
- General Surgery experience preferred.
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with surgical instruments, supplies, and sterile equipment.
- Maintain sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures.
- Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and transport.
- Perform surgical counts according to facility protocols.
- Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are functioning properly.
- Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent procedures.
- Follow infection prevention and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and surgical team members.
