About The Position
Indiana Specialty Surgery Center is hiring a PRN Certified Surgical Technologist. The role scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence as a member of the surgical team. The technologist maintains a sterile field and prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures. The role supports the Surgery Center’s philosophy, objectives, and goals, and participates in quality improvement activities. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification in Surgical Technology.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.
