About The Position
The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. The role maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures and prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to those procedures. The Surgical Technologist supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center and supports and participates in quality improvement activities. Haymarket Surgery Center is a Joint Commission-accredited, physician-owned and USPI-owned facility with two operating rooms and two treatment rooms. It supports specialties including ENT, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Podiatry, Spine, and Urology. The center emphasizes compassionate, patient-focused care and combines advanced technology with a service-oriented approach. Responsibilities
- Scrub for surgical procedures and function competently as a member of the surgical team.
