About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to support surgical procedures in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise across multiple specialties and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center
- Hands-on experience in multiple specialties, including: Orthopedic, General Surgery, ENT, Vascular, GYN
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
- Certification preferred (CST or equivalent)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical instruments
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance standards
