About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support operative and other invasive procedures. The role functions as a scrub person, prepares and cleans surgical instruments for processing, and helps clean and prepare procedure rooms between patients. The position is per diem in Charlotte, and the listed pay range is USD $25.00–$38.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Successful completion of a BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and prepare the room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
