About The Position

Travel Surgical Technologist position in the General OR at Saint Mary's, Georgia, for a 13-week assignment. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday day-shift role with 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and a schedule of 6:45 AM–3:15 PM. The start date is ASAP. Total gross weekly pay is $1,795.

Requirements

• Experience as a Surgical Technologist in an OR setting.
• Must live 80 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel assignment.
• Valid driver’s license, which must be included in the candidate profile.
• Availability to start ASAP and commit to the full 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and set up sterile fields, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Accurately count instruments, sponges, and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
• Help with patient positioning and room turnover between cases.
• Keep accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the OR team.
