About The Position
We are seeking a Travel Surgical Technologist to work in an OR/Surgical Tech specialty at Saint Mary's in Saint Mary's, Georgia. This is a 13-week, full-time assignment with 40 hours per week, consisting of 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. The start date is ASAP. Total gross weekly pay is $1,795.
Requirements
- Experience as a Surgical Technologist in an OR setting.
- Must live 80 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel assignment.
- Valid driver’s license, which must be included in the candidate profile.
- Availability to start ASAP and commit to the full 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and set up sterile fields, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
- Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Accurately count instruments, sponges, and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
- Help with patient positioning and room turnover between cases.
- Keep accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the OR team.
